First Aid and BCLS Workshop

The Department of Public Health organized a workshop on First Aid and Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) on 18th & 19th June 2024. Trainers for the session included Dr. Gayathri Bhat, Dr. Sripada Mehandale and other faculty from the Department of Anaesthesiology.

27 participants mastered essential life-saving skills like CPR, First Aid skills in emergency situations, like oxygen support, accidents, stroke, poisoning etc. The event was organized in The Nu-MEDISiM at Nitte University's Medical Simulation Centre for Advanced Clinical Skill Training, KSHEMA.
