KSHEMA Centre for Genetic Services is a Diagnostic Lab with the modern “state-of-the- art” cytogenetic testing facility engaging both diagnostic, research and teaching started in the year 2013. This is the only cytogenetic diagnostic laboratory functioning in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district. The laboratory offers a broad profile of service by conventional karyotyping and FISH (Fluorescence in situ hybridization) for prenatal and postnatal samples.
