- The Endocrine system is a complex system that consists of various glands and organs that secrets numerous hormones. Hormone plays a vital role in many functions of the body like feeling of hunger, thirst, response to stress, mood, temperature control, sexual desire, menstrual cycle, growth and development of child, control of blood sugar etc.
- Major endocrine glands are pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, reproductive organs, adrenal glands, parathyroid glands. These glands produce more than 50 different hormones to carry out various processes in our body. Our hospital has a team of a qualified endocrinologists who can manage all problems related to endocrine diseases.
