Public Awareness Program

The Department of ENT, K S Hegde Medical Academy in collaboration with the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board organized a Public Awareness Program on Noise Pollution on 11th February 2023 at Sharada Ganapathi Vidya Kendra, Kairangala.

Mr. Ramesh KM, Senior Environmental Officer, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board inaugurated the program. Prof. (Dr.) Vadisha Bhat, Head, Dept. of ENT delivered the introductory speech and welcome address. Mr. Rajaram Bhat, Founder & Correspondent,Sharada Ganapati Vidya Kendra was the chief guest. He informed the gathering that the students of his school will collaborate and support Nitte University's Nishabda Project in the coming days. Prof. (Dr.) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte DU presided over the program.

Prof. (Dr) Rajeshwari, Dept. of ENT, KSHEMA was the resource person. She made a detailed presentation to the students to create awareness about noise pollution.

Dr. Shravan Alva proposed the vote of thanks. Principal Mr. Hari K and Vice Principal Ms. Ramani Bhandary were present. About 250 students of the school participated in this program.
