As a part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of KSHEMA, a CME was conducted by the Department of Community Medicine on 27th January 2024 at K S Hegde Medical Academy.

All three invited speakers were alumni of KSHEMA.
Dr Mahendra Kiritti (MBBS 1999 Batch), Taluk Health Officer, Koppa, Karnataka.
Dr Shachi Adyanthaya (MBBS 2001 Batch), Sr. Manager, Child Health & Development, Children's Investment Fund Foundation, New Delhi.
Dr Pracheth R (MBBS 2004 Batch), Associate Professor, Dept. of Epidemiology, NIMHANS, Bengaluru.

The resource persons spoke on "The role of social protection and SBCC in improving maternal nutrition"; "Mental health research for community health professionals - Opportunities and challenges" and "Role of health & wellness centers in the healthcare of community".

The event ended with a Panel Discussion on "Health systems strengthening for tackling post-partum depression". A total of 86 delegates attended the event.
